At the conference , the representative of the Provincial Federation of Labor announced and presented the Decision to establish Gia Van Commune Trade Union with 33 grassroots trade unions and over 6,600 union members . At the same time , the Decision to appoint the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, Chairman and Vice Chairman of Gia Van Commune Trade Union for the 2023-2028 term was announced. The Executive Committee of Gia Van Commune Trade Union consists of 10 comrades; the Standing Committee of the Trade Union consists of 2 comrades. Gia Van Commune Trade Union has legal status, its own seal and account according to regulations and fully performs the functions, tasks and powers according to the provisions of the Charter of Vietnam Trade Union. Comrade Dinh The Hung was appointed to hold the position of Chairman of Gia Van Commune Trade Union.
The conference also announced the Decision to transfer 33 grassroots trade unions and more than 6,600 union members to Gia Van Commune Trade Union to direct, manage and guide union activities.
Speaking at the conference, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Labor Federation Nguyen Hai Long emphasized: The establishment of Gia Van Commune Trade Union is an important milestone , marking a new development step of the trade union organization in the grassroots political system; concretizing the Party's guidelines and policies , the State 's laws and policies and the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor on streamlining the organizational apparatus according to the 2-level local government model . He also requested Gia Van Commune Trade Union to quickly stabilize its organization and operations, the Executive Committee to promptly develop working regulations, assign specific tasks to members; focus on doing a good job of representing, caring for , and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of union members and workers; promote propaganda work, raise awareness of law compliance for union members and workers; organize patriotic emulation movements ... He believes that with the close leadership and direction of the Provincial Federation of Labor, the Commune Party Committee, the coordination of the government and departments, branches and organizations of the commune, along with the efforts and solidarity of the Executive Committee, Gia Van Commune Union will quickly operate stably and effectively, in line with the local political tasks; focus on developing union members, building a strong union organization; continue to innovate the content and methods of operation, closely following the goal of "focusing on the grassroots, for the workers"...
On this occasion, the Executive Committee of Gia Van Commune Trade Union launched a campaign to grassroots trade unions , union members and workers to respond to the emulation movements "Good workers, Creative workers", "Promoting initiatives and technical improvements" to welcome the Congress of Ninh Binh Provincial Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term.
