At the conference, representatives of the Provincial Federation of Labor announced the Decision to establish the Commune Trade Union; Decision to appoint the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, and the position of Chairman of the Commune Trade Union; Decision to transfer the grassroots trade union and union members to the Giao Thuy Commune Trade Union. According to the decisions, the Giao Thuy Commune Trade Union was established from September 25, 2025, under the Ninh Binh Provincial Federation of Labor. This is the merger of 47 grassroots trade unions with a total of 11,777 union members operating in the communes : Giao Thuy, Giao Minh, Giao Hoa, Giao Binh, Giao Ninh, Xuan Truong, Xuan Hung and Xuan Hong.
Giao Thuy Commune Trade Union is responsible for managing, directing and guiding the activities of grassroots trade unions in accordance with the provisions of the Charter of the Vietnam Trade Union and of the higher-level Trade Union. The Executive Committee of Giao Thuy Commune Trade Union consists of 11 comrades, the Standing Committee of 3 comrades. Comrade Pham Thi Huyen was appointed to hold the position of Chairwoman of Giao Thuy Commune Trade Union.
Speaking at the conference, the representative of the Provincial Federation of Labor congratulated the Giao Thuy Commune Trade Union, and emphasized that the establishment of the Giao Thuy Commune Trade Union is an important milestone demonstrating the attention and trust of Party committees and authorities at all levels in the movement of workers, civil servants, laborers and trade union activities, and at the same time continuing to affirm the importance of the Trade Union in the political system. He also requested the Executive Committee of the Giao Thuy Commune Trade Union to promptly develop working regulations and action programs for the Executive Committee and Standing Committee; clearly assign tasks to each comrade to effectively implement activities from the very beginning.
The commune trade union needs to take advantage of the leadership, direction and facilitation of the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Giao Thuy commune and the Standing Committee of the Provincial Labor Federation ; closely coordinate with the People's Committee and mass organizations of Giao Thuy commune and the communes of Giao Minh, Giao Hoa , Giao Binh, Giao Ninh, Xuan Truong, Xuan Hung, Xuan Hong to effectively carry out propaganda and mobilization work for union members and workers to strictly implement the Party's guidelines, the State's laws and policies and the local political tasks. Pay attention to taking care of the material and spiritual life of union members; at the same time, promote the role of supervision, criticism and participation in building a clean and strong Party and government. Actively organize the emulation movement "Good workers , creative workers" among workers, thereby discovering typical factors and nurturing excellent union members, introducing them to the Party for consideration and admission. Continue to adhere to the goal of "orienting towards the grassroots, for the workers", innovate organizational thinking, service thinking, make the trade union organization truly a trustworthy representative organization of workers. Focus on developing union members, establishing grassroots trade unions and trade unions to make Giao Thuy commune trade union organization stronger; actively contribute to the socio -economic development of the locality and the province.
