Announcement of the decision to establish Yen Khanh Commune Trade Union

On the morning of September 11, the Provincial Federation of Labor (FFL) held a conference to announce and present the decision to establish the Yen Khanh Commune Union.

Comrade Nguyen Hai Long, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Labor Federation presented the Decision to establish the Commune Trade Union and presented flowers to congratulate the Executive Committee of the Commune Trade Union.

Attending the conference were members of the Provincial Party Committee: Nguyen Hai Long, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Labor Federation; Duong Duc Khanh, Secretary of the Yen Khanh Commune Party Committee. Also attending were representatives of the Provincial Labor Federation, Yen Khanh Commune, representatives of the communes: Khanh Nhac, Khanh Thien, Khanh Hoi, Khanh Trung and representatives of the grassroots Trade Unions.

The conference announced the following decisions: Establishing Yen Khanh Commune Trade Union under the Provincial Federation of Labor from September 5, 2025, including 21 grassroots trade unions with a total of 8,081 union members. Yen Khanh Commune Trade Union has legal status, its own seal and account according to regulations; fully performing the functions, tasks and powers according to the provisions of the Charter of Vietnam Trade Union, of the Party and higher-level Trade Unions.

Decision to appoint the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, Chairman, Vice Chairman of Yen Khanh Commune Trade Union for the 2023-2028 term. The Executive Committee of Yen Khanh Commune Trade Union consists of 09 comrades; the Standing Committee consists of 03 comrades. Comrade Do Thi Bich Phuong, Member of the Executive Committee of the Provincial Federation of Labor, Head of the Finance Department of the Ninh Binh Provincial Federation of Labor (before the province's merger) was appointed to hold the position of Chairman of Yen Khanh Commune Trade Union.

The conference also announced the Decision to transfer 21 grassroots trade unions with a total of 8,081 union members in the communes of Yen Khanh, Khanh Nhac, Khanh Thien, Khanh Hoi, Khanh Trung to Yen Khanh Commune Trade Union to manage, direct and guide union activities.

At the conference, comrade Nguyen Hai Long, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Labor Federation sent his congratulations to the Executive Committee of the Yen Khanh Commune Trade Union. At the same time, he emphasized that the establishment of the Yen Khanh Commune Trade Union is an important milestone marking a new development step of the trade union organization in the grassroots political system; concretizing the Party and State's policy on streamlining the organizational apparatus according to the 2-level local government model; not only having the role of representing, caring for, protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of union members and workers, but also having the task of directing, guiding, and supporting grassroots trade union activities, contributing to building an increasingly strong trade union organization. He requested the Commune Trade Union to promptly and effectively implement its activities right from the first days of its establishment; Do a good job of propaganda and mobilization of union members and workers to implement the Party's guidelines and the State's laws and policies, especially propaganda among union members and workers about upcoming important political events such as: Provincial Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term, 14th National Party Congress, Patriotic Emulation Congress; Congress of the Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations at all levels for the 2025-2030 term; care for, look after, and protect the legitimate rights and interests of union members and workers; promote emulation movements associated with local political tasks; focus on developing union members and building strong trade union organizations; continue to innovate the content and methods of operation, closely following the goal of "focusing on the grassroots, for workers". He expressed his belief that with the continued attention, leadership, direction, facilitation, and coordination of the leaders of Yen Khanh commune and neighboring communes, along with the spirit of solidarity, responsibility, and high determination, the Yen Khanh Commune Trade Union will increasingly develop, operate effectively and substantially, fulfill the mission of the Trade Union organization, be a reliable support for union members and workers, be worthy of being a bridge between the Party and workers, be a pioneer force in the period of integration and development, and actively contribute to the socio-economic development of the locality.
