Following the success, VMG Media and Next Media officially own the exclusive rights to the German Football Championship - Bundesliga on all broadcasting platforms for 5 seasons from 2023 to 2028.
"At the same time, we are also the first unit to bring the copyright of the German National Cup DFB-Pokal 3 seasons to Vietnam. With the comprehensive cooperation between VMG Media, Next Media and Bundesliga, DFB-Pokal this time, we also bring with us many greater expectations. Those are cooperation programs between the two countries on youth football training. Outstanding young players of Vietnam will have the opportunity to be trained and compete in Germany, contributing to improving the quality of Vietnamese football", Mr. Nguyen Hoang Nam emphasized.
VMG Media and Next Media announce Bundesliga copyright for 5 years (2023-2028) and German National Cup for 3 years (2023-2026)
As the unit that initiated the cooperation with Bundesliga International since 2020, Next Media General Director Nguyen Trung Kien said: “Not only cooperating on broadcasting copyright, we have been very successful in cooperating to develop football, demonstrated in friendly matches between the Vietnam national team and Borussia Dortmund Club, the True Love charity match or the tour of the Vietnam U17 team with German youth teams. In addition to the tours and friendly matches between the two countries' football teams that have been committed, excellent Vietnamese male and female players will have the opportunity to go to Germany to play for clubs through the cooperation program. In addition, coaches from Germany will also come to Vietnam to select excellent young players in the program.
“Bundesliga Dream Team” is a program to train and compete in Europe. Not only in sports, the cooperation between the two countries has also expanded to other fields with Next Media, Bundesliga, and the German Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Vietnam (AHK) co-organizing the German-Vietnamese Business Summit to bridge investment from Germany to Vietnam.
