Prime Minister's telegram on organizing high school graduation exams in 2025 "has many special points"

On May 8, Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long, on behalf of the Prime Minister, signed Official Dispatch No. 58 on organizing the high school graduation exam and generaleducation entrance exam in 2025.

The dispatch clearly stated that the 2025 high school graduation exam has many special features: it is the first year to be organized according to the 2018 general education program, applicable to both students studying under the new and old programs; taking place in the context of restructuring the government apparatus and inspection agencies; the number of candidates is increasing; the risk of cheating using high-tech devices is increasingly sophisticated and complicated.

The Prime Minister requested all levels, sectors and localities to synchronously and effectively implement the organization of the high school graduation exam and early-level enrollment in 2025, strictly implement Directive 37, and ensure the most favorable conditions for candidates, families and educational institutions.

The Provincial Party Secretary, City Party Committee Secretary and Chairman of the People's Committee of the provinces and cities are fully responsible for issuing plans to organize the exam in the spirit of "6 clear": clear people, clear work, clear responsibility, clear authority, clear time, clear results, in accordance with the roadmap for arranging local authorities.

The Prime Minister requested to strengthen coordination between all levels, sectors and the education sector; fully prepare conditions, have backup plans, and not allow mistakes or lack of responsibility in any stage of the exam.

The provincial inspectorate is assigned to develop an inspection plan and check all stages, especially the assignment of responsibilities, to ensure that it does not affect general operations.

The Ministry of Education and Training presides over and coordinates with ministries, branches and localities to review documents and guidelines for organizing exams in line with reality; clearly assign tasks, closely monitor the situation, and promptly remove arising problems.

The Ministry of Public Security develops a plan to ensure security and safety for the exam; prevent and handle violations. The Government Inspectorate coordinates with the Ministry of Education to direct and guide inspections in accordance with regulations, facilitating the preparation and organization of the exam.
