Building a harmonious, stable and progressive working environment not only protects the rights of employees but also strengthens the foundation for sustainable development of the enterprise. There, the grassroots trade union organization plays the role of a reliable bridge between the employer and the collective of workers.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Anh, Vice President of the Da Nang City Labor Federation, commented: “The trade union organization in enterprises is considered a place where workers are listened to, protected and accompanied in the work process. Through the trade union, the voices and aspirations of workers are conveyed to business leaders in an honest and responsible manner.

On the contrary, this is also a channel for business owners to grasp the thoughts of employees, thereby adjusting policies, benefits and working environment more reasonably, together creating a harmonious and effective working environment.
In recent years, the Trade Union of Industrial Parks and Economic Zones (Da Nang City Labor Federation) has made efforts to develop the network of grassroots trade unions and develop union members in the business sector.
At the same time, widely deploy the movements "Good workers, creative workers", "Green - clean - beautiful, ensuring occupational safety and hygiene"..., contributing to creating a vibrant competitive atmosphere in enterprises, connecting workers and improving labor productivity.
Building harmonious and stable labor relationships
According to Ms. Le Nhu Ngoc, Chairwoman of the Trade Union of YUE TENG SPORTING GOODS Co., Ltd. (Tam Thang Industrial Park), since its establishment, the company's trade union executive committee has clearly identified its role as a bridge, proactively advising and proposing activities to care for the material and spiritual life and protect the legitimate rights of union members.

“The establishment of a trade union is an important first step in building harmonious, stable and progressive labor relations in the enterprise. The trade union executive board always plays the role of a bridge between employees and employers, creating a friendly, cohesive and effective working environment, contributing to the sustainable development of the enterprise,” said Ms. Ngoc.
The leader of a foreign-invested company in Chu Lai Open Economic Zone believes that the union is a partner of the enterprise. When employees are cared for and respected, they will feel secure in their dedication, and that is the long-term benefit of the company. This spirit of cooperation and openness is being implemented by many enterprises in Da Nang, seeing the union as a companion instead of an opponent.
In fact, in some enterprises, trade union activities are still formal and do not really stand side by side with workers. Therefore, innovation in content and methods of operation is an urgent requirement.
According to Ms. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Anh, grassroots trade unions in enterprises need to develop clear and specific operating regulations, proactively negotiate and sign collective labor agreements, organize practical emulation movements, and become the spiritual and cultural center of the enterprise.
“Building harmonious, stable and progressive labor relations is a condition for sustainable development of enterprises. When the union truly plays the role of a bridge, protecting the rights of workers while accompanying enterprises in improving productivity and quality, that is a “win-win” relationship. The ultimate goal is still for the rights, for a prosperous life of workers and for the sustainable development of enterprises,” said Ms. Anh.
