Up to now, many businesses in Binh Duong are still in a state of running out of orders due to the impact of the global economic recession.
To improve the situation and seek new orders from partners, businesses in Binh Duong have proactively changed their approach, introduced products, and targeted new markets, but the situation has not improved much.
Businesses lack orders, production stagnates, workers lose their jobs, many people have had to leave their rented rooms and return to their hometowns to make a living.
According to some workers living in Hung Loi 1 housing complex (Uyen Hung ward, Tan Uyen city, Binh Duong), the housing complex used to be crowded and bustling. Since the Covid-19 outbreak, the rental rooms have been reduced by 200-300 thousand VND/month. Lack of orders, many businesses reduced and stopped production, economic indicators in the industrial capital of Binh Duong decreased. The leader of the Department of Industry and Trade of Binh Duong province said that the Department and the Investment Promotion Center of Binh Duong province are researching solutions to find orders for businesses. The locality has increased the organization of trade promotion conferences, expanding the market to South America, India, and the Middle East. In addition, the units also support businesses to introduce themselves on e-commerce platforms, organize supply-demand connections, and find domestic orders.
