Song Ba Ha Hydropower Joint Stock Company: Striving to generate 667 million kWh

On January 3, Song Ba Ha Hydropower Joint Stock Company held a conference to summarize the work in 2023 and deploy tasks in 2024.

The report at the conference said that in 2023, Song Ba Ha Hydropower Joint Stock Company generated more than 104% of the plan, with nearly 800 million kWh; paid 222 billion VND to the state budget. The company effectively implemented cost reduction solutions; coordinated with local authorities to effectively carry out drought prevention, natural disaster prevention - search and rescue; properly implemented the reservoir operation process in the Ba River basin; actively implemented social security and charity work in the province.

In 2024, the company is determined to achieve the goal of ensuring stable, safe and economical power supply according to the requirements of the National Power System Control Center, striving to produce 667 million kWh; ensuring safe, reliable, continuous and efficient operation of generators; ensuring reservoir safety during the 2024 flood season; strictly implementing the inter-reservoir operation process, coordinating operations in flood and storm prevention.

Directing the conference, Mr. Tran Ly, member of the Board of Directors of Power Generation Corporation 2, praised the results achieved by Song Ba Ha Hydropower Joint Stock Company in the past year. At the same time, he requested that in 2024, Song Ba Ha Hydropower Joint Stock Company continue to improve maintenance and repair work, ensuring stable, reliable and long-term operation of generators; strengthen technical management, complete technical and economic indicators; closely follow the developments of the electricity market, load demand, to have a reasonable bidding strategy...

On this occasion, Vietnam Electricity Group awarded 1 collective and 1 individual; Power Generation Corporation 2 awarded 6 collectives and 11 individuals of Song Ba Ha Hydropower Joint Stock Company for their outstanding achievements in production and business activities in 2023.
