Phu Tho Electricity Company organizes customer conference in 2025

On March 28, Phu Tho Power Company held a customer conference for 2025.

Phu Tho Newspaper was commended by the Northern Power Corporation for its active coordination with the electricity industry in electricity supply in 2024.

In 2024, Phu Tho Power Company has ensured stable power supply, meeting the production and daily needs of people in the province. In ensuring electricity supply, Phu Tho Power Company has fully met the needs of customers to ensure production, business and daily life, contributing to promoting local economic development. Major customers in Phu Tho province have newly developed and registered to increase with a total capacity of 100.7 MW. Implementing the load adjustment program, the Company has signed 226/226 DR agreements with customers, reaching 100%; worked with 203 major customers to shift production away from peak hours (12:00-15:00, 21:00-24:00).

The company focuses on promptly handling customer recommendations and proposals during the electricity purchase and sale process, supporting customers through consulting programs on solutions for economical and efficient electricity use...

In 2025, large customers in the province and newly developed large customers are expected to register a demand for electricity of 219.21 MW; mainly concentrated in Cam Khe, Tam Nong, Ha Hoa districts, Phu Tho town, Viet Tri city. According to the weather forecast for 2025, in the Northern season, the hot weather continues, the load demand increases, besides, the reserve power of power plants in the Northern region is still weak, the probability of power plant incidents may occur in extreme situations leading to a lack of capacity compared to the demand. The company has worked to sign load adjustment agreements with customers with output of 1 million kWh/year or more and has expanded to customers with output of less than 1 million kWh/year so that customers can arrange reasonable production plans, shifting loads away from peak hours of the power system from (13:00 - 15:00) and (20:00 - 23:00) in the months of May, June, July, August, with a total capacity shifted away from peak hours of the power system of more than 50MW.

On this occasion, the Northern Power Corporation awarded 11 customers who are typical enterprises in load adjustment work and 4 units that have actively coordinated with the electricity industry in electricity supply in 2024.
