According to the city's Hydrometeorological Station, currently, the water level on rivers in Hue City fluctuates above BĐ1 to below BĐ2. The water level at 7:00 a.m. on October 22 on the Huong River at Kim Long was 1.43m, 0.43m above BĐ1; the Bo River at Phu Oc was 2.32m, 0.68m below BĐ2; the O Lau River at Phong Binh was 1.75m; the Truoi River at Truoi station was 1.55m; the Ta Trach River at Thuong Nhat was 58.33m, below BĐ1.
From October 23 to 28, there is a possibility of a flood on the city's rivers, the flood peak on the Huong River is forecasted at BĐ3 from 0.2-0.3m (Huong River BĐ3 is 3.5m); Bo River on BĐ3 from 0.3-0.5m (Bo River BĐ3 is 4.5m); O Lau and Truoi rivers 3.0-3.5m. The flood peak on the Huong River and Bo River and other rivers in the city will be lower than in 2022 and 2023. However, currently, there is a high tide causing low-lying areas to begin to be deeply flooded, water to drain slowly. Many traffic routes in Duong No, Hoa Chau, Thuan An wards... are flooded, people have to travel by boat.

Due to the influence of storm circulation and cold air combined with East wind disturbances and topographic effects, from October 22-24, the city's mainland experienced heavy rain, very heavy rain. The total rainfall for the entire period due to the influence of storm No. 12 was generally 250-500mm, in some places over 600mm.
The city's Hydrometeorological Station warns of a high risk of flooding in low-lying areas along rivers and urban areas in the city. Flash floods and landslides on steep slopes in mountainous areas.
