To achieve this certification, the entire technology system of DUYTAN Recycling must ensure the evaluation criteria to create products of high quality, value and efficiency; have research and testing activities to apply high technology, environmental friendliness, energy saving in production and quality management, technical standards of Vietnam or international.
DUYTAN Recycling is honored to receive the High-Tech Enterprise Certificate issued by the Ministry of Science and Technology.
With high-quality recycling technology, in the first 10 months of 2023, the factory collected and recycled 18,200 tons (equivalent to 1.6 billion bottles). The number of recycled plastic bottles not only provided raw materials for major fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) brand partners in Vietnam but also exported to 12 countries including the United States and Europe with an export output of 9,100 tons, equivalent to 56%.
This is a source of pride and one of the important steps for the company to control and improve production quality, competitiveness and is the starting point for future development plans. Through the organization of collection, recycling and production of high-quality recycled plastic pellets for the market, DUYTAN Recycling aims to gradually perfect the circular economic model in plastic waste management and join hands for a green - clean - beautiful environment.
DUYTAN Recycling applies modern recycling technology
DUYTAN Recycling started construction in June 2019 on an area of 65,000m² at Duc Hoa Ha Plastic Industrial Park, Long An province. The factory has a total capacity of 100,000 tons/year. With a modern production line imported from Europe, the factory currently has a production capacity of 30,000 tons of plastic/year, the second phase plan will increase the processing capacity to 60,000 tons of plastic/year, equivalent to 4.6 billion bottles of water will be recycled. In addition to ISO standards for the management system, the company's products meet the standards of the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA), certification from the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) is proof of the quality of recycled plastic products that are safe for health, suitable for the production of packaging for food, including drinking water.
Up to now, this is the first factory in Vietnam to apply "Bottle to Bottle" recycling technology - each used plastic bottle will be recycled into plastic granules, creating a new plastic bottle loop, helping to reduce the use of fossil fuels.
The High-Tech Enterprise Certificate is a prestigious certificate of the Ministry of Science and Technology. Specifically, on March 16, 2021, the Prime Minister issued Decision No. 10/2021/QD-TTg on criteria for determining high-tech enterprises. Accordingly, a high-tech enterprise is an enterprise that meets the criteria in Article 75 of the 2014 Investment Law and the following criteria: First, revenue from high-tech products must reach at least 70% of the enterprise's total annual net revenue. Second, the ratio of total expenditure on research and development activities of the enterprise to the value of total net revenue minus the annual input value. Third, the ratio of direct employees conducting research and development with college degrees or higher of the enterprise to the total number of employees.
