Mr. Alejandro Osorio - CEO of Grab Vietnam introduces Grab's operations in Vietnam

At the meeting, Mr. Alejandro Osorio introduced Grab's operations in Vietnam, Grab's journey to promote digital transformation in various fields. At the same time, he proposed activities to accompany the province's digital transformation roadmap.

Mr. Alejandro Osorio also expressed his impressions of the province's digital transformation work in recent times, as well as his appreciation of the HueS platform. Grab Vietnam wishes to accompany the province in digital transformation of the transport sector, promoting tourism through digital platforms, and enhancing digital skills for local people.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Hoang Hai Minh acknowledged and highly agreed with the ideas that Grab in Vietnam proposed to cooperate with the province; at the same time, he said that these ideas are in line with the province's development orientation to become a tourist city, smart, developing digital economy , green economy, and sharing economy.

Mr. Hoang Hai Minh suggested that there should be scientific solutions and methods for effective implementation, and that legality must be ensured during the implementation process; he hoped that Grab Vietnam Company Limited would study to establish a branch in Thua Thien Hue; and assigned the Provincial Institute for Development Studies to be the focal point for coordination to implement the project. On the company's side, it is necessary to develop a specific roadmap for effective project implementation. During the process of building and implementing the project, it is necessary to focus on building the image of Grab Hue as civilized, friendly, and polite; aiming for green and safe transportation; promoting local tourism; accompanying major cultural and social events of the province.
