On February 13, the People's Committee of Binh Dinh province has just planned to organize a countdown event for the New Year 2024.
The estimated cost of organizing this event is about 7.7 billion VND, of which the budget of Binh Dinh province is less than 2 billion VND, the rest is socialized.
Binh Dinh Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Tourism and a number of related departments to work with the organizing unit to agree on a detailed program scenario.
The event is expected to take place from around 7:00 p.m. on December 31 to 0:30 a.m. on January 1, 2024, at Nguyen Tat Thanh Square, Quy Nhon City, including a ceremony and a festival, along with an art program with performances by many famous singers.
At the moment of transition, people and tourists will have the opportunity to count down the last seconds of the old year to the new year.
According to Permanent Vice Chairman of Binh Dinh Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Tuan Thanh, the countdown program to welcome the new year 2024 aims to create a healthy playground for young people, residents and tourists coming to the coastal city of Quy Nhon at the moment of transition from the old year 2023 to the new year 2024.
Thereby, contributing to promoting and advertising tourism to Binh Dinh destination, introducing new, unique and special tourism products and services, creating a deep impression on people and tourists.
Recently, Mr. Ho Quoc Dung, Secretary of Binh Dinh Provincial Party Committee, said that in 2023, Binh Dinh province was in the top in public investment disbursement, ranking 9th in the country and 2nd in the Central region.
Binh Dinh is located in the South Central Coast region, known as an island paradise because it possesses 134 km of beautiful, pristine coastline and friendly, hospitable people.
