At around 9:30 a.m. on August 6, while on duty regulating traffic at the Nguyen Van Linh-National Highway 50 intersection in Binh Hung commune, a technology taxi driven by Ms. Nguyen Thi Nga approached Major Chu Nguyen Cuong, an officer of the Da Phuoc Traffic Police Station (Traffic Police Department, Ho Chi Minh City Police) for help.

The driver, Nga, said he was taking a pregnant woman to Tu Du Hospital for emergency treatment because her water had broken and she was having a difficult birth. However, the road to the hospital was quite crowded, and if she moved slowly, it could endanger the woman's life, so Ms. Nga took a risk and asked Major Cuong to lead the way.

After a quick check in the taxi, Major Cuong saw that Mr. Nguyen Thanh Thuan, the husband of the pregnant woman, was worried about the lives of his wife and child. He immediately called the station's leaders for advice and quickly used a special vehicle to turn on the siren and lead the way. Thanks to that, after only a short time, Major Cuong was able to help take the pregnant woman to the emergency room in time.
After his wife passed the critical stage, Mr. Thuan and his family were extremely grateful and thanked Major Cuong for his timely support. "My family will always remember the kindness of the traffic police!", Mr. Thuan was moved.
