Provincial People's Council: Perfecting the position of Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee

Speaking at the opening of the session, Mr. Nguyen Dang Binh, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, emphasized that implementing the Provincial Party Committee's policy on personnel work, with the spirit of urgency, positivity, companionship, and sharing responsibility in organizing the implementation of the provisions of the Law and meeting the requirements of practice; at this thematic session, the Provincial People's Council carried out the process of perfecting the position of Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee. This is a particularly important content, aiming to ensure smooth, effective and efficient leadership, direction, and administration, contributing to the successful implementation of the province's socio -economic development goals in 2025 and the following years.

Standing members of the Provincial Party Committee vote at the Session

To ensure the process and regulations on personnel work, at the Session, the Provincial People's Council carried out the procedure for dismissing the Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Thai Nguyen province, term XIV, 2021 - 2026, for comrade Hoang Thu Trang, member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee. Previously, implementing Notice No. 319-TB/TU dated August 1, 2025 of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee on agreeing in principle to introduce comrade Hoang Thu Trang, member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee to be elected to participate in the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee and hold the position of Chairman of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee, term 2020 - 2025. On August 4, 2025, the Provincial Party Executive Committee conducted the election and comrade Hoang Thu Trang, member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, was elected as Chairman of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee.

Pursuant to Notice No. 318-TB/TU dated August 1, 2025 of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee on agreeing in principle to introduce comrade Bui Van Luong, member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Party Committee Inspection Committee, to the Provincial People's Council to elect to hold the position of Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee. At the Session, the procedure for electing the position of Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee for the 14th term, 2021 - 2026 term was carried out for comrade Bui Van Luong, a personnel approved in principle by the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee and introduced by the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

Standing members of the Provincial Party Committee presented flowers to congratulate comrade Hoang Thi Thu Trang and comrade Bui Van Luong.

The review and decision to complete the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee is not only to ensure the requirements for completing the leadership position, but also to demonstrate the trust and expectations of the Party Committee, government and people of all ethnic groups in the province for the individuals assigned by the organization to hold the position, ensuring that it is suitable to their capacity, strengths and working experience in the new position.
With the spirit of urgent, focused, serious, democratic and highly responsible work, the 4th Session (special session) of the 14th Provincial People's Council completed all the contents and programs set out.
