Ho Chi Minh City Traffic Police handled more than 6,000 violations after 4 days of peak campaign

On October 15, the Traffic Police Department of Ho Chi Minh City Police said that after 4 days of peak campaign to handle violations of alcohol and drug concentrations and ensure traffic order and safety, the functional forces have recorded and handled more than 6,000 violations.

Many cases of alcohol concentration violations were recorded by Ho Chi Minh City Traffic Police.

Of these, there were more than 1,800 cases of violating regulations on alcohol concentration, 8 cases of driving vehicles with drugs in the body. In addition, the unit also sent notices of handling violations via images to nearly 1,900 cases, including nearly 900 cases of speeding violations, nearly 400 cases of driving on sidewalks and more than 520 cases of stopping and parking vehicles in violation of regulations.

Previously, on October 11, the Traffic Police Department launched a peak period of inspection and handling of violations to restore traffic order and discipline, especially during the 1st Congress of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, term 2025 - 2030. The Traffic Police force was mobilized to the maximum, synchronously implementing professional measures according to the motto "No forbidden zones, no exceptions".

Along with inspection and handling work, the Traffic Police Department promotes propaganda of laws on traffic safety and order, increases the application of digital technology and artificial intelligence in communication, and spreads the message "If you drink alcohol or beer - do not drive" to the people.

In the coming time, the unit will continue to maintain peak topics, strengthen traffic regulation, prevent accidents, and contribute to maintaining order and traffic safety in the city.
