| Standing Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Nguyen Thanh Binh met with voters in An Cuu ward. |
Standing Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Nguyen Thanh Binh informed voters about the outstanding results in socio -economic development in recent times, especially after implementing the 2-level local government model. The implementation of the 2-level local government model has achieved many positive results, the commune and ward apparatus operates more effectively. The City regularly evaluates to make timely adjustments; any good content will continue to be promoted, any limited content will be overcome.
With a huge workload, it requires grassroots staff to be regularly trained to improve their skills, and at the same time, it is necessary to continue investing in institutions suitable to current needs. In addition, the city continues to pay attention to stabilizing life and production after the flood, enhancing environmental sanitation and supporting people to restore their livelihoods.
At the meeting, voters had 9 opinions and recommendations related to the issue of investing in traffic infrastructure and lighting on the road from Phat Lat bridge to An Cuu bridge, especially the need to invest in drainage systems on some roads, such as Nguyen Huu Canh, Hoang Quoc Viet... to reduce the current localized flooding situation.
One of the issues that voters are particularly concerned about is the situation of “suspended planning” projects lasting 15-20 years, causing people to fall into a situation of “not being able to leave, not being able to stay”. Many households reported that their houses were degraded, and the low-lying areas could not be renovated due to planning problems. Therefore, they requested the government to create conditions for people to stabilize their lives.

Voters also made recommendations regarding the waste situation in the An Cuu Dong area; the issuance of red books is still slow. Many opinions suggested strictly handling the encroachment of public land, ensuring traffic, environment, and preventing flooding...
Standing Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Nguyen Thanh Binh acknowledged and accepted all the opinions of the people. He said that the voters' reflections were all big problems that had existed for many years and were currently being focused on by the city to find solutions. To do so, there needs to be an "overall picture" to guide the overall development of the entire city.
Regarding infrastructure investment, Mr. Binh emphasized that it is necessary to conduct a review and assessment to adjust the planning after implementing the 2-level local government model. Institutions that need to be prioritized for development must be clearly identified and included in the planning, ensuring proper focus and priority implementation.
Regarding the flooding issue, it is necessary to have an impact assessment and scientific research, from which a comprehensive plan is needed to solve the problem of flood prevention for the An Cuu area in particular and the city in general. In addition, the management of public land and environmental sanitation will also be strengthened, thoroughly handling the current shortcomings.

| Voters of Thuan Hoa ward make recommendations on issues related to local infrastructure. |
After listening to the report, voters expressed their excitement at the positive changes in the city, especially in the fields of urban infrastructure, public order and tourism. However, many opinions also frankly pointed out the shortcomings that need to be considered and handled in the coming time.
Many voters have asked the government to strengthen inspection and handling of the situation of people riding motorbikes on the road along the southern bank of the Perfume River - an area that has been invested in and is an attractive entertainment spot for locals and tourists. According to the reflection, this situation is offensive, poses a potential risk to traffic safety and affects the tourist landscape of the road.
In addition, some opinions suggested that the city study and adjust the exploitation plan of Kim Dong Park, arguing that the current model is service-oriented, not suitable for the cultural space - typical landscape of Hue and has not promoted the role of a public park.
Regarding infrastructure and urban planning, Thuan Hoa voters also reflected that the Hai Ba Trung walking street has not been operating effectively and has not attracted tourists as expected; it is necessary to have solutions to supplement cultural and commercial activities to increase attractiveness. Some routes such as Dang Huy Tru and Nguyen Tuong To (from Phan Chu Trinh to Phu Cam bridge) are often congested during rush hours, affecting people and students, and need to be expanded and upgraded soon.
In addition, voters also raised many remaining issues for the people, such as the delay in handling the relocation of the house at 3 Le Loi; the dispute over the common path at alley 25 of Hanoi street; the slow progress of construction of the road along the Huong River from Da Vien bridge to Nguyen Hoang bridge; the Phuoc Vinh cultural space project that has been delayed for many years without implementation... affecting people's lives.
On behalf of Delegation Group No. 4, the City People's Council delegates and local leaders took note of all recommendations, discussed and explained a number of contents within their authority; at the same time, committed to synthesizing and reporting at the upcoming 11th session of the Hue City People's Council.
