Mr. Nguyen Huu Thong also provided information and clarified the policy on rearranging and reorganizing administrative units at all levels, and establishing a two-tiered local government system nationwide and in Binh Thuan province. During the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Huu Thong reported on the responses from relevant ministries and agencies to the suggestions made by voters in previous meetings.

During the meeting, voters expressed their joy and pride in the achievements that the country and Binh Thuan province have attained after 50 years of liberation and reunification. Voters highly agreed with the revolution of merging provinces and organizing local governments into two levels, which the entire political system is currently implementing. However, voters suggested that the National Assembly should publicly disclose the basis for naming the newly merged provinces.

Voters also suggested that the National Assembly should reform the education program, adding more subjects on ethics and character education to curb the growing concern about school violence. Voters also expressed concern about food safety, following recent large-scale investigations and crackdowns by authorities on counterfeit milk and medicine production. Currently, some celebrities and artists are advertising products that do not meet quality standards, leading consumers to trust and use substandard products. Voters requested that the National Assembly and relevant agencies establish strict regulations to manage online advertising of these products.

Voters also requested a review of the implementation of Resolution 09/2024 of the Provincial People's Council on support for three non-professional positions in villages and neighborhoods when they resign or leave their positions voluntarily. Resolution 09 of the Provincial People's Council took effect in July 2024, but some individuals holding the position of Head of the Village/Neighborhood Front Committee retired in February 2024 after their term ended. This resulted in those working in the village/neighborhood front not receiving the allowances stipulated in Resolution 09.

During the meeting, National Assembly representative Le Quang Huy responded to the voters' requests. He emphasized that abolishing district-level governments, merging provinces, and reorganizing commune-level governments are urgent practical requirements and revolutionary actions aimed at reducing intermediate levels, streamlining the administrative apparatus, and building a government that is closer to the people and improves the quality of public service. Regarding food safety, Representative Le Quang Huy stated that this is a legitimate concern directly affecting the economy and health of the people. He acknowledged the issue and will present his views to the National Assembly in the upcoming session. For the remaining concerns, Representative Le Quang Huy will forward them to the relevant departments and agencies for a response to the voters.
