According to Decision No. 1602/QD-TTg dated December 10, 2023 of the Prime Minister on the detailed assignment of the 2024 State budget estimate, the State budget revenue target of Tay Ninh Provincial Customs Department is 1,100 billion VND. The Provincial People's Committee assigned the State budget revenue estimate of 1,200 billion VND in Decision No. 2646/QD-UBND dated December 15, 2023.
In order to strive to complete the 2024 budget collection task, the Provincial Customs Department has developed a plan to implement solutions and tasks to reform administrative procedures in a modern, public, transparent manner, promptly resolve arising problems under its authority related to customs procedures, tax policies, tax management, tax refund and tax exemption regimes, remove difficulties, and create favorable conditions for businesses to participate in import and export activities.
In addition, the Provincial Customs Department continues to promote cooperation with banks to implement 24/7 electronic tax payment, pilot tax payment through payment intermediary service providers, ensuring that taxpayers can pay taxes anytime, anywhere, by any means; apply international standards and modern customs management processes to create maximum convenience for the business community while still ensuring strict supervision and management in accordance with legal regulations.
The Provincial Customs Department directed its subordinate Customs Branches to strictly implement the State budget revenue management from the beginning of 2024; strengthen the review and grasp of revenue sources; research and implement solutions to increase revenue and prevent State budget revenue loss; proactively assess the impact of international integration commitments on State budget revenue.

At the same time, the Customs sector focuses on reviewing and grasping the tax debt situation; classifying debt groups and tax debt status of enterprises, proposing handling measures in accordance with regulations; resolutely handling, enforcing, and recovering tax debts in accordance with the law, reducing tax arrears, periodically publicizing tax-indebted enterprises; not allowing new debts to arise, not allowing debts at December 31, 2024 to be higher than at December 31, 2023...
At the same time, the Provincial Customs Department will continue to coordinate with relevant agencies and units to advise and propose the Provincial People's Committee to review planning, call for investment in building warehouses, gathering places, inspection and supervision of import and export goods at border gates and industrial parks, creating favorable conditions for individuals, organizations and enterprises with import and export activities in the province.
