On June 23, the Ho Chi Minh City Civil Judgment Enforcement Department held a ceremony to announce and implement the electronic receipt system.
According to the HCM City Judgment Enforcement Department, through practical experience in organizing cases with a large number of litigants such as the Alibaba case, Truong My Lan and accomplices, this agency has researched and built an electronic receipt system. This is to shorten the implementation time, increase the publicity and transparency of the process of collecting and spending money for judgment enforcement.
Previously, the parties had to go directly to the Ho Chi Minh City Civil Judgment Enforcement Agency to pay the enforcement fee, but now they can do it by transferring money to the agency's account via the judgment enforcement decision, or receiving a payment notice with a QR code. At the same time, they can look up and receive an electronic receipt immediately after completing the payment.
Mr. Nguyen Van Hoa, Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Civil Judgment Enforcement Department, emphasized: "Putting the electronic receipt system into operation is an important step in innovating the enforcement profession. Affirming the spirit of determination in digital transformation, administrative reform associated with arrangement, streamlining, and organization of the apparatus towards serving people faster and more effectively."
The electronic receipt system is integrated with many modern technological features such as scanning, extracting information by OCR, digital signature by the Government Cipher Committee's signature, connecting electronic payments with banks to help reduce procedures, increase processing speed and ensure transparency in collecting money for execution of judgments.
As planned, on July 1, the Ho Chi Minh City Civil Judgment Enforcement Department will deploy enforcement notices via the VNeID application.
