MoMo joins Au Lac AI Alliance

The Au Lac AI Alliance was officially launched with the participation of more than 20 leading artificial intelligence units in Vietnam such as MobiFone, VNPT, FPT, CMC, BKAV, Misa, the Academy of Posts and Telecommunications Technology and the "unicorn" MoMo.

MoMo has applied AI to many activities in the service.

The presence of Fintech “unicorns” like MoMo contributes to concretizing the Alliance's goal of building large language models (LLMs) capable of processing Vietnamese accurately, naturally and in accordance with Vietnamese culture, thereby contributing to improving people's knowledge and promoting the development of the national digital economy .

Currently, MoMo has widely applied AI and natural language processing technology to core products, serving more than 30 million users every day - from personalizing experiences, spending management, customer care to credit services.

“We believe that AI needs to be developed to solve specific problems that are close to the lives of Vietnamese people, from spending and saving to accessing credit. MoMo joins the Au Lac AI Alliance not only as a technology enterprise, but also as one of the domestic forces that are directly bringing AI into life, serving tens of millions of people every day,” said Mr. Nguyen Ba Diep, co-founder of MoMo Financial Technology Group.

Participating in the Au Lac AI Alliance once again affirms MoMo's long-term and serious investment commitment in applying artificial intelligence to solve the practical financial and consumer needs of tens of millions of Vietnamese people.

In addition to developing an AI ecosystem with Vietnamese identity, MoMo is also actively participating in public-private partnership forums to accompany the State in the national policy-making process. Most recently, Mr. Nguyen Manh Tuong, co-founder, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors and General Director of MoMo Financial Technology Group, was appointed as one of 18 members of the National Advisory Council on Science , Technology, Innovation and Digital Transformation.

The above milestones demonstrate the recognition of state management agencies for MoMo's technological capacity and long-term, systematic commitment, thereby affirming the influence of domestic fintech enterprises in building and shaping national policies.
