Provincial Tax Department strives to exceed state budget revenue estimates

On the afternoon of June 11, the Provincial Tax Department Party Committee held the 6th Congress for the 2025-2030 term.

In the 2020-2025 term, the Provincial Tax Department Party Committee has promoted the spirit of solidarity, democracy, and discipline, overcoming many difficulties to comprehensively complete the assigned political targets and tasks. The total budget revenue for the 2021-2025 period reached 385,609 billion VND, with an average growth rate of 5.2%/year. The domestic revenue target reached nearly 103% compared to the Resolution of the Provincial Party Congress. The Tax Department has been continuously commended by the Ministry of Finance and the Provincial People's Committee for its outstanding achievements.

Party building work has had many positive changes. During the term, the Party Committee admitted 53 new Party members, exceeding the set target; 100% of grassroots Party organizations and Party members fulfilled their tasks well, of which over 95% fulfilled their tasks well and excellently. The models of "Four-good Party Cells" and "Four-good Party Committees" were implemented synchronously, contributing to building a clean and strong Party organization.

Professional activities continue to be innovated in a modern direction, focusing on taxpayers as the center of service. The Tax Department has implemented synchronous electronic invoices, applied information technology, reformed administrative procedures; at the same time, promoted inspection, examination, debt management and tax refund in accordance with regulations. The rate of electronic tax declaration reached 100%, the average tax debt remained below 4%.

In the 2025-2030 term, the Party Committee of the Tax Department has identified three breakthroughs: improving leadership capacity to exceed budget revenue targets, building a team of professional, honest, and innovative civil servants; promoting digital transformation in tax management. Strive to complete and exceed at least 2% of the annual state budget revenue estimate, building an increasingly strong and comprehensive Party Committee.

Attending and speaking at the Congress, Mr. Le Ngoc Khanh, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, acknowledged and praised the sense of responsibility and efforts of the Provincial Tax Department Party Committee in preparing for the Congress and exceeding the budget revenue targets for the 2020-2025 term. The Vice Chairman of the People's Committee emphasized that despite facing many major fluctuations such as the COVID-19 pandemic and geopolitical conflicts, the province still maintained its growth momentum. Tax modernization, digital transformation, and administrative reform have been comprehensively implemented.

In the coming term, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the Party Committee of the Provincial Tax Department to continue to improve its leadership capacity, tighten discipline, closely forecast the situation, closely coordinate with localities and complete the task of budget collection in the context of administrative boundary merger.
