The War of the Riches episode 28: Nam Tra "deeply acts" the role of a tolerant wife, Hieu Don falls into the trap for the "n" time

Towards the end, “The War of the Rich” proves its appeal with the top-notch “psychological manipulation” of the characters. Episode 28, which has just aired, has given the audience “goosebumps” with the “deep acting” ability of Nam Tra and the pitiful gullibility of the Phan family boss.

Five years of successful "whitewashing" by Tra, plotting to use "bitter meat strategy"

After confirming that his ex-wife was still alive, Hieu Don officially removed the altar of Thi Nguyet (Nguyet Anh). Nam Tra, despite being "boiling with anger", still tried to maintain her composure. However, she almost couldn't contain her anger when Hieu Don announced that he wanted to bring Khang (his lost eldest son) back to his ancestors.

Instead of being jealous, Nam Tra chose to “turn around” and sweetly encouraged her husband to find a way to bring their son back so they could enjoy the glory and wealth together. This “generosity” completely trapped Hieu Don, believing that she was truly tolerant.

But in reality, this was just a stepping stone for a cruel plan. With her heart "boiling" with hatred, Tra decided to "play a life and death game": using her own son (Thien) to carry out the "bitter plan", in order to tie up Hieu Don and destroy the mother and son of her love rival. The audience could not help but shudder because a fierce tiger does not eat its own cubs, but Nam Tra was willing to use her own flesh as a... chess piece!

Tu Trang - "Final Boss", the "top" "game breaker"

If Nam Tra is the revealed villain, then Tu Trang (Thanh Hien) is the terrifying "final boss". In this episode, Van Tai hired an assassin to chase down Mrs. Nguyet and her children in order to eliminate the threat. However, this plan was foiled by the skillful Tu Trang at the last minute.

Not out of kindness, Tu Trang saved Khang and his mother just to keep the "fire" that made Hieu Don and Nam Tra's family continue to tear each other apart because Ms. Tu of the Phan family was patiently waiting for the opportunity, "the fisherman benefited" to take over the entire Phan family.

As for Khang, Thi Nguyet’s son, after learning the truth, the cold young man refused to return to the “rich family”. Remembering the conversation between his mother and the “boss”, Khang painfully realized that the kind man was his biological father.

The scene where Hieu Don met Khang right after the assassin arrived a step too late was touching. But contrary to his expectations of a complete reunion, Khang flatly refused to follow his father back to the Phan family. For him, a life of luxury could not be exchanged for peace with his mother. Khang's refusal was like a bucket of cold water poured on the ambitions of those who were fighting for the inheritance, and at the same time affirmed the character of a filial son who valued love over material things.
