The troops will simulate NATO and Swedish deployments to Europe, as well as take part in real-world exercises. The exercise will also deploy NATO's rapid reaction force to Poland, the alliance's easternmost country and a neighbor of Russia.
NATO added that more than 50 ships from aircraft carriers to destroyers, along with more than 80 fighter jets, helicopters, drones, and at least 1,100 other combat vehicles including 133 tanks and 533 infantry fighting vehicles will participate in this exercise.
