This is a cultural event for children in the city on the occasion of International Children's Day June 1 and in response to the Month of Action for Children, which will be held annually, starting from 2023.
This year, the festival takes place on the 50th anniversary of the founding of Ho Chi Minh City Children's House.
The festival includeseducational , cultural, skill-equipping, artistic, physical education, sports, entertainment, and material and spiritual care activities for children in the city, especially children in difficult circumstances and children in special circumstances.
In addition, the festival also has accompanying activities, helping parents connect and understand their children, contributing to promoting children's participation rights, building a cultured and happy family. Thereby, honoring the role of the family in social life.
This year's festival has built many "play and learn" spaces for children, such as: "Books and knowledge" space, "Connection and integration"; "Children with the future"; "Cuisine world "; "Family fun".
The festival also has check-in areas to inspire creativity; art activities, exchanges and performances; a series of activities "My family is number 1"; activities "Sharing love" and "Green living".
In particular, within the framework of the festival, there will be exhibitions "50 years - Where dreams take flight" and "50 years - Spring flowers of the country, our team continues" and activities to experience the 50th anniversary of the formation and development of the Ho Chi Minh City Young Pioneers Team at Uncle Ho's Space with children.
According to the Organizing Committee, this year's Ho Chi Minh City Children's Festival has many new features, such as: Introducing some literary works by children; introducing, displaying, and presenting some good books for children; an AI drawing playground with the theme "I draw the future city"; a creative science experience space...
The festival takes place over 3 days, from May 30 to June 1, 2025.
