The Association of War Veterans of Thoi Long Ward coordinated with sectors, organizations and regions to launch environmental sanitation campaigns, consolidate the models of "Bright - green - clean and beautiful roads"; coordinate propaganda of the Party's guidelines, policies and laws of the State; educate revolutionary traditions for union members, youth, students... The Association of War Veterans of the Ward coordinated with regions to carry out 4 projects and tasks to celebrate holidays, anniversaries and party congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 term, with a total value of more than 850 million VND.

Mr. Le Hoang Tho, Chairman of the Association of War Veterans in Thoi Long Ward, said: "In addition to regular work, the Association of War Veterans in the ward actively coordinates to propagate and mobilize union members and young people to volunteer to perform military service . At the same time, it organizes activities to celebrate the anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Association of War Veterans (December 6) and the founding of the Vietnam People's Army (December 22)."

In O Mon, the Ward Veterans Association combines patriotic emulation movements with the emulation movement "War veterans help each other reduce poverty and do good business ". The Ward Veterans Association supports members and people to borrow capital from the Social Policy Bank with a total outstanding debt of nearly 28 billion VND; builds an internal fund of 127 million VND, helps 12 members borrow 47.7 million VND without interest; coordinates to organize training courses, transfers science and technology for War veterans to apply in production...

The Association of War Veterans in O Mon Ward mobilized to build new houses and repair 3 houses for war veterans facing housing difficulties; coordinated with the Department of Culture and Social Affairs of the ward to propose to superiors to give war veteran members 2 gratitude houses. In 2025, the Association of War Veterans in the ward helped 4/4 members in near-poor households escape poverty sustainably.

According to Mr. Le Hong Vu, Chairman of the Association of War Veterans in Thot Not Ward, Head of Emulation Cluster No. 2, the grassroots Association of War Veterans in the emulation cluster mobilized cadres and members to carry out charitable activities well, helping each other improve their lives: helping War Veterans members with capital to develop their family economy, supporting members in building and repairing houses, introducing jobs for children of War Veterans. The Associations of War Veterans in the emulation cluster regularly build, consolidate and improve the quality of effective economic models, such as: raising goats for meat (Trung Nhut and Thuan Hung wards); raising mud-free eels (Thoi An Dong)... Thanks to the support of the Association of War Veterans at all levels and the efforts of the families, the Association of War Veterans in the communes and wards in the emulation cluster no longer has members who are poor households.

The grassroots War Veterans Associations actively propagate and mobilize members and people to donate land, contribute money and working days to build infrastructure and social welfare works; set an example in implementing the criteria of new rural areas and civilized urban areas. Along with that, they launch and effectively implement the movements "All people unite to build a cultural life in residential areas", "All people protect national security"; regularly propagate environmental protection work, mobilize households to arrange garbage bins, organize collection, classification and treatment of waste according to regulations...

In the coming time, Emulation Cluster No. 2 of the Association of War Veterans of Can Tho City will continue to coordinate and effectively participate in national target programs, campaigns, and movements launched by the Central, City, and Local Government in various fields; improve the effectiveness of coordinating traditional education for the younger generation; consolidate and improve the quality of operations of savings and loan groups managed by war veterans; replicate effective economic models owned by war veterans, contributing to improving the lives of members. The grassroots War Veterans Associations will register to implement skillful mass mobilization models, projects, and tasks to celebrate holidays and anniversaries.
