Former Vietnam national team player suffered a concussion and needed two stitches

Ha Minh Tuan collided with Dong Nai player.

Striker Ha Minh Tuan was taken to hospital after he fainted during the match between Da Nang and Dong Nai. Doctors performed a CT scan and diagnosed that the striker wearing the number 19 shirt had a concussion. He had to get two stitches on his head wound.

The doctor said the injury was not a major problem, and after completing the paperwork, Ha Minh Tuan would be discharged from the hospital to go home for monitoring.

This is good news for Da Nang Club and the 33-year-old striker who was called up to the Vietnam national team. In the match on the evening of February 18, Ha Minh Tuan collided in the air with Bui Ngoc Thinh of the away team and lay motionless on the field.

Ha Minh Tuan was conscious and was allowed to go home for observation by the doctor.

Ha Minh Tuan's teammates immediately used their hands to cover his mouth. The referee called the medical team onto the field to provide first aid. The match was paused for more than 5 minutes for the doctors to work before an ambulance took Ha Minh Tuan to the hospital.

Without Ha Minh Tuan, Da Nang FC still won 1-0 against Dong Nai. The goal belonged to striker Phan Van Long. This victory helped the Han River team consolidate their top position in the National First Division with 20 points, 6 points more than the second team.

Ha Minh Tuan's forte is as a striker. His height of 1m81 is an advantage in aerial combat situations.

Ha Minh Tuan was trained at Da Nang Club. His professional career includes 3 stages, including two times playing for Da Nang's first team (2010 to 2015, and 2023 to present). In between, he played for Quang Nam Club for 8 years.

The time playing for the Quang Nam team left a strong mark in Ha Minh Tuan's career. He played 130 matches and scored 28 goals. In 2019, he was called up by coach Park Hang Seo to the Vietnam national team to prepare for the matches in the second qualifying round of the 2022 World Cup.
