Transferred 814 billion VND to serve the site clearance work of Dau Giay

The Dau Giay - Tan Phu Expressway project is over 60km long, passing through 4 districts: Thong Nhat, Xuan Loc, Dinh Quan and Tan Phu.

According to reports from localities, the total number of households affected by the project is more than 1,500 households. Of which, the number of households needing resettlement is about 279 cases, including: 20 cases in Thong Nhat district, 7-8 cases in Xuan Loc district, 120 cases in Dinh Quan district and 131 cases in Tan Phu district.

To arrange resettlement for people, localities have also reviewed the number of resettlement plots in resettlement areas that have been invested in and are implementing procedures to invest in building new resettlement areas.

On the investor side, the Thang Long Project Management Board ( Ministry of Construction ) said that in 2025, the Dau Giay - Tan Phu Expressway Project was allocated a capital of VND 814 billion to serve the site clearance work. Up to now, this capital has been transferred to the accounts of the district land fund development centers to carry out the work of measurement, counting and compensation.

Meanwhile, for the Tan Phu - Bao Loc Expressway Project, the section passing through the province is about 11km long in Tan Phu district. In the project area, there are 940 households affected, of which more than 100 households must be resettled. Currently, in the district, there is a resettlement area of 15 hectares with 715 resettlement plots under construction with infrastructure sufficient to accommodate resettlement for the project.

Concluding the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Ha requested localities to launch a 45-day peak period to carry out site clearance for the Dau Giay - Tan Phu Expressway Project. The target is that by June 20 at the latest, localities must complete the project's compensation and support plan.

To speed up the progress of site clearance for the two projects, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Ha also requested that localities establish working groups led by members of the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee to carry out propaganda and mobilize people to hand over the site. Localities assign a Chairman or Vice Chairman of the District People's Committee to directly direct and be responsible for site clearance for the projects.

The Department of Agriculture and Environment is fully responsible for compensation and site clearance for projects. It guides localities in implementation steps. The Department of Industry and Trade is responsible for relocating technical infrastructure systems in the project implementation areas.
