Despite a decrease in export volume, the high prices resulted in coffee export revenue reaching its highest level in the first four months of the year and an all-time high.

Specifically, the average export price of coffee in the first four months of 2025 reached US$5,700 per ton (a 67.6% increase compared to the same period in 2024).
In terms of markets, Germany was the largest importer of Vietnamese coffee in the first four months of 2025, with a turnover of US$628 million (an increase of 97.6% and accounting for 16.9% of Vietnam's total coffee export value). This was followed by Italy (US$307.6 million); Spain (US$292.5 million); Japan (US$260 million); the United States (US$236.8 million); and Russia (US$213.4 million).
Notably, in the first four months of 2025, the Mexican market became a bright spot in Vietnam's coffee export picture, recording breakthrough growth. Accordingly, Vietnam exported 17,413 tons of coffee, worth nearly 93 million USD, to this market (an increase of 2,971%, equivalent to a 30-fold increase in volume and a 5,412% increase, equivalent to a 54-fold increase in value compared to the same period in 2024).
In the domestic market, the price of green coffee beans is currently fluctuating between 122-122.5 million VND/ton (down 2.5-3.3 million VND compared to previous days). The reason for the price drop is the increased supply from major producing countries such as Brazil and Indonesia.
