The Da Nang City Land Development Center has just announced and launched the short-term lease of 7 land plots in the city.
Of these, 6 plots are designated for transportation infrastructure (parking lots, garages); and 1 plot is for commercial and service purposes (business in ornamental plants and trees).
The lease term is 60 months from the date of signing the short-term land lease contract for 6 land plots for transportation infrastructure; and 36 months from the date of signing the short-term land lease contract for 1 land plot for commercial and service purposes.
The starting price for short-term land leases is the price for land leases where the State collects annual land rent, as determined according to the provisions of point b, clause 1, Article 159 of the 2024 Land Law and the provisions of clause 1, Article 26 of Government Decree No. 103/2024/ND-CP dated July 30, 2024, regulating land use fees and land rent.
The winning price is the highest price offered by a participant, exceeding the starting price, or equal to the starting price if no one bids higher than the starting price when bidding in ascending order.
For individuals, the eligibility requirements for leasing are being at least 18 years old, having full legal capacity as stipulated by law, and residing permanently in Vietnam. For organizations, a business registration certificate issued by a competent state authority is required.
The deposit is 10% of the total land value based on the starting price for short-term leases, with the entire lease term as defined. Applications for short-term land leases submitted after the deposit has been paid will be considered invalid if the application lacks proof of deposit payment.
According to the Da Nang City Land Development Center, if an organization or individual is selected for short-term land lease, the deposit will be converted into a security deposit for the responsibility of demolishing the structure. If the organization or individual is not selected for short-term land lease, the deposit will be refunded within 5 working days from the date of announcement of the short-term land lease winner.
If an organization or individual is selected for a short-term land lease but fails to contact the relevant parties to sign a contract, the deposit will not be refunded.
The selected land lessee is prohibited from constructing permanent structures and must voluntarily dismantle any structures upon notification from the Land Development Center regarding contract termination. They will not receive compensation for land, property, or investment costs; they are responsible for cooperating with the People's Committee of the ward or commune during implementation and operation in the locality and in accordance with the law.
"From the date of public announcement on the website of the City People's Committee, the People's Committee of the ward/commune where the land is located, and the Land Fund Development Center, participating organizations and individuals must submit to the Land Fund Development Center applications for land lease and proposed lease rates," the Da Nang City Land Fund Development Center announced.
The application submission period includes two phases: Phase 1: From 7:30 AM on December 11, 2025 to 5:30 PM on January 5, 2026 (excluding Saturdays and Sundays); Phase 2: From 7:30 AM on December 15, 2025 to 5:30 PM on January 9, 2026 (excluding Saturdays and Sundays).
