Da Nang has more direct flights from Singapore

The Singapore-Da Nang direct flight route with a frequency of 3 flights/week on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays officially opened today, October 20.

On the afternoon of October 20, flight TR314 of Scoot Airlines, departing from Changi International Airport, Singapore, landed at Da Nang International Airport, with 174 passengers on board the airline's first flight to Da Nang city.

This flight marks the official launch of Scoot Airlines' direct flight route from Singapore to Da Nang with a frequency of 3 flights/week on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays, and is expected to increase to 7 flights/week from January 2026.

Flights are operated by Airbus A320 aircraft, with a capacity of 180 to 186 seats.

Speaking to reporters, Mr. Tan Van Vuong, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Da Nang city, said: with its close geographical location, convenient air connections and cultural similarities in the ASEAN region, the number of tourists from Singapore to Da Nang has recorded a steady growth trend.

The expansion of direct flights between Singapore and Da Nang, with the participation of all three airlines Singapore Airlines, Vietjet Air and Scoot Airlines, has increased the total flight frequency from Singapore to Da Nang to 24 flights/week, contributing to increasing the exchange of tourists between Singapore and Da Nang, while expanding opportunities for cooperation in tourism development in the coming time.

It is known that Scoot Airlines is currently operating direct flights from Singapore to: Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, Phu Quoc and is expected to operate flights to Cam Ranh in November 2025.

In 2025, Da Nang is expected to welcome more than 17.3 million visitors served by accommodation establishments, 4 times higher than in 2020, of which international visitors are expected to be more than 7.6 million, a 10-fold increase, domestic visitors are expected to be more than 9.7 million, a 2.7-fold increase; revenue from accommodation, food and beverage, and travel is expected to be more than VND 59 trillion, nearly 3.5 times higher than in 2020.
