Da Nang expected to welcome nearly 700 flights during the April 30 holiday

During the April 30 - May 1, 2025 holiday, there are expected to be 692 flights to Da Nang; the city will organize many attractive activities and events to serve people and tourists to visit, relax and experience.

The Department of Tourism of Da Nang City said that during the April 30 - May 1 holiday this year, people will have 5 days off (from April 30 - May 4, 2025), equivalent to the 2024 holiday. Statistics on the general capacity of 4-5 star and equivalent tourist accommodation establishments during this year's holiday are estimated at 75-80%.

According to information from Da Nang International Airport, during the 5-day holiday, there are expected to be 692 flights to Da Nang (up 16% compared to the same period last year), averaging about 138 flights/day. Of which, there are 285 international flights, up 10% compared to the same period last year; 407 domestic flights, up 21% compared to the same period last year.

On this occasion, Da Nang also plans to welcome a cruise ship to Tien Sa port with 2,000 multinational guests (USA, UK, Germany, Canada, Netherlands...) to visit famous destinations of the city such as: Ngu Hanh Son scenic spot, Linh Ung Pagoda - Son Tra, Cham Sculpture Museum... The number of visitors to Da Nang by train during this holiday is estimated at about 13,243, an increase of 10% over the same period in 2024.

In order to meet the needs of sightseeing, relaxation and experience of the people and tourists, Da Nang City will organize many attractive activities and events. Specifically, the program Opening the 2025 beach tourism season with the theme "Blue Wave Dance" will take place from April 26 to May 2, 2025 at East Sea Park, Son Tra Peninsula, My An, My Khe, T18 beaches, Nguyen Tat Thanh beach route...

This program has main activities such as: Artistic kite performance; Marine Environment Festival with the theme "The sea needs you, you need the sea"; Sea swimming competition "Overcoming the waves of Da Nang summer 2025"; Display of art check-in models; Exhibition of "Son Tra Moments" and live painting; International Sea Rescue Competition Da Nang 2025; Sub DANANG COLOR RACE Competition 2025; Beach Sports Festival; Sea sports performance...

Da Nang City also organized a 3D Mapping presentation to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the complete liberation of the South and national reunification at Da Nang Museum, 42 Bach Dang (the nights of April 29, April 30, and May 1, 2025); organized fire and water spraying at Dragon Bridge, performed filming of the Han River Bridge; organized a Han River cruise experience; cultural and artistic programs and activities on both banks of the Han River...

During this holiday, the city also launched a stimulus program to attract tourists to Da Nang in 2025, "Enjoy Da Nang - Many experiences" with many free incentives and attractive service discounts for international and domestic tourists, and international tourists returning to Da Nang. The program applies continuously from now until December 2025 and is deployed synchronously on many different channels.
