DNVN - The Da Nang Department of Health recommends that people do not buy and use food products that are being widely advertised on social networks, especially products that are awaiting inspection and verification by authorities.

The Da Nang Department of Health said that recently, the Department of Food Safety ( Ministry of Health ) has officially announced a request to stop buying and using some functional food products, especially weight loss products of unclear origin and quality. Currently, some food products such as X1000, weight loss pills X3 (Super Detox X3), X7 plus are being investigated for quality and origin.

The manufacturer of these products, Nano Tesla High-Tech Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Company Limited, has temporarily ceased operations since May 28. The distributors of these products, including Zubu Trading and Service Company Limited and Ngan 98 Trading and Service Company Limited, have ceased operations and are no longer present at the registered addresses.

This makes it difficult to verify whether the products are still circulating on the market. Meanwhile, these products are still being advertised and sold mainly through individuals on social networks, making it difficult for consumers to verify the quality and origin.

To protect public health, the Da Nang Department of Health requests that agencies, medical units, hospitals and related facilities widely notify medical staff, patients and people about these products of unknown origin. Be especially vigilant with products that do not have food safety certification or are advertised with unclear origin.

At the same time, people are advised not to buy and use food products that are being widely advertised on social networks, especially not to buy and use the above products while waiting for the authorities to complete the inspection and verification.

The Da Nang Department of Health also recommends that people avoid using products advertised by individuals whose identities or product information cannot be verified; be cautious when choosing to buy functional foods and weight loss products, especially when they are offered through unofficial channels such as social networks.

According to the Da Nang Department of Health, the Food Safety Department and other authorities are continuing to investigate, verify and inspect the above products to ensure consumer safety. Consumers should only buy functional food products from reputable distributors and stores with full certification and product information.
