On the afternoon of June 10, Ms. Le Thi Tuyet Mai - Chairwoman of the People's Committee of Hoa Hiep Nam Ward, Lien Chieu District, Da Nang City - said that she is coordinating with functional forces to clarify the case of dumping many blister packs of medicine on a vacant lot on Xuan Thieu 21 Street.
According to Ms. Mai, on the same morning, people saw garbage dumped on the ground, including a large number of pill packs, so they reported it to the authorities to come and check.
When the urban planning team came to inspect, they found hundreds of dark brown bottles with no labels and dented. Many were still wrapped in bags, thrown away among the rubble and household waste.
In addition, there were many plastic bags containing many intact, unused blister packs. The blister packs clearly printed the name "Cetecocenzitax 25mg" with an expiration date of August 2026.

Ms. Le Thi Tuyet Mai said that the area where the illegal dumping took place is sparsely populated, and the surrounding area is mostly vacant land. This is also a place where illegal dumping of debris and household waste is common.
However, many people were surprised because recently in Ho Chi Minh City, many blister packs of pills were dumped on vacant lots, so they immediately reported it to the authorities.
"Currently, we are working with the police to clarify the case. First, we need to identify the person who dumped the medicine and clarify the ingredients in these blister packs," said Ms. Mai.
According to Ms. Mai, during the inspection, the authorities seized a number of drug samples to send for testing.
