National Assembly delegates of Quang Ngai province discuss socio-economic development in 2025

On October 21, at the 10th Session of the 15th National Assembly, the National Assembly Delegation of Quang Ngai province participated in the discussion in the Group on the socio-economic situation in 2025, the plan for 2026 and the summary of the 2021-2026 term of the President, the Government, the National Assembly and the judicial agencies. Alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of the province, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Ngai province U Huan and delegates in the National Assembly Delegation of Quang Ngai province attended and contributed many enthusiastic opinions.

Delegates said that, in addition to the great achievements that the country has achieved, people are still worried about the problem of counterfeit goods, poor quality goods, social violence and asked the Government to have drastic solutions to rectify. Regarding the medium-term public investment in 2021-2025, the Central Government will allocate capital reasonably, overcome scattered investment, and focus on key projects. However, the 2026 public investment plan has not yet allocated capital for the Quang Ngai - Kon Tum expressway, so the Government should consider allocating investment capital soon.

In the cultural field, delegates said that our country's culture has achieved many progressive results in recent times, and has never received as much attention and elevation as it does today. Delegates also pointed out that in implementing Resolution No. 18 on streamlining the political system apparatus to be more compact, effective and efficient, there is still a situation of overlapping functions between agencies.

At this afternoon’s discussion session on the 2021-2026 term review of State agencies, delegates from the Quang Ngai delegation suggested the need for more flexibility when adjusting the legislative program. At the same time, creating a feasible mechanism for independent supervision activities, ensuring the conditions and operating costs of National Assembly delegations.
