During the past term, the Party Committee of the Provincial Economic Zone Management Board has led the implementation of political tasks well, contributing significantly to the economic growth of An Giang province. Every year, the disbursement of public investment capital plans reaches about 95% of the total plan, while advising competent authorities to approve many key projects, such as: An Giang Border Gate Economic Zone Investment Project; dossier to upgrade Khanh Binh Border Gate to international level (road, river); Vam Cong Industrial Park Infrastructure Development Project (193.31 ha) approved by the Prime Minister for investment (when completed, it will create jobs for about 8,000 workers); Project to adjust the general planning of An Giang Border Gate Economic Zone until 2045; The Provincial People's Committee also approved the investment in Tinh Bien Border Gate Logistics Center Phase 1 (25 ha, implemented 2026 - 2030) ...

Received and worked with 47 domestic and foreign investors to learn about investment in the garment, footwear, agricultural processing industries... Currently, the province's industrial parks and economic zones have 44 investment projects in operation, with a total registered capital of 7,050 billion VND, creating jobs for nearly 19,500 workers. The State budget has allocated over 329 billion VND to invest in infrastructure of industrial parks and functional areas of border economic zones in the period of 2021-2025. Currently, An Giang plans 5 industrial parks (856.94 hectares), of which 3 industrial parks have been put into operation, with a total area of over 219.75 hectares.

Party building work has been given attention, with innovation in the form of Party cell activities and streamlining the organization. 100% of subordinate Party cells have completed their tasks well, most of them achieving "Well completed" or higher; each year 90% of Party members have completed their tasks well.

In the 2025-2030 term, the Party Committee has set out three breakthroughs: Digital transformation, administrative reform; human resource training; investment in developing important infrastructure. Along with that, proactively deploy the An Giang Border Gate Economic Zone Investment Project after being approved by the Prime Minister; actively monitor and urge the implementation of medium-term public investment projects in the 2026-2030 period, ensuring the highest disbursement capital; promote the completion of key infrastructure; accelerate the completion of remaining key projects to put them into operation soon.
