The report at the Congress emphasized that over 65 years of construction and development, especially in the last 5 years, the collective of Bac Giang University of Agriculture and Forestry has united, made efforts to overcome difficulties, successfully implemented the resolutions of the Central, the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment , the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Committee and the Party Committee of the school, creating important changes in the comprehensive fundamental innovation of education, contributing positively to the development of the Agriculture-Environment sector, the development of Bac Giang province and localities.

In the 2020-2025 term, the school maintains a stable enrollment scale, enrolling an average of 800 to 1,200 students each year in the regular, joint, work-study, and distance learning systems. Scientific research, technology transfer, digital transformation, and development cooperation activities have many innovations, linked to the needs of localities and businesses. The field of scientific research has achieved many achievements. The school has carried out 12 ministerial and state-level scientific research tasks; 8 provincial-level scientific research tasks, 12 grassroots-level topics and projects, 112 scientific research topics of staff and lecturers; developed 10 branded products, 31 technological processes have been transferred and put into production, many plant varieties are protected and allowed to circulate, hundreds of scientific articles have been published in prestigious domestic and international journals.

Speaking here, comrades Tran Thanh Nam and Phan The Tuan acknowledged and highly appreciated the achievements of the Party Committee of Bac Giang University of Agriculture and Forestry in the past time. They emphasized that, entering the 2025-2030 term, in the context of the country promoting digital economic development and encouraging innovation, Bac Giang University of Agriculture and Forestry needs to continue to seize opportunities, overcome difficulties, and strive to become a prestigious training and scientific research center nationwide. To achieve that result, the role of the Party Committee of the school needs to be further promoted to comprehensively lead all aspects of the school's political work.
On this occasion, the comrades suggested some contents for the Congress to discuss, from unifying the direction, goals and tasks in the coming time such as: Continuing to thoroughly grasp the Party's resolutions, promoting the strength of solidarity, improving the leadership capacity, fighting strength and the political core role of the Party Committee, the exemplary pioneering role of cadres, Party members and lecturers, building a clean and strong Party organization in terms of politics, ideology and organization. Focusing on planning, training and fostering leaders and managers to proactively ensure the source of successor cadres. Strictly implementing the principle of the Party's leadership of cadre work, associated with protecting internal politics and building and rectifying the Party.
Urgently organize the implementation of decisions and plans of the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment on implementing Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science and technology development, innovation and national digital transformation; consider this a key and regular task of the school's Party Committee every year.
At the same time, the school focuses on promoting the diversification of training types according to the requirements of the industry and society; synchronously innovating the curriculum and teaching content. Timely reviewing and updating the training program in the direction of integration and interdisciplinary, building and promulgating training program standards; developing new training majors in line with the orientation of green transformation, developing smart agriculture, circular economy, digital transformation and sustainable development in the fields of agriculture and environment.
Improve the quality of scientific research and technology transfer, strive to become a center for agricultural and forestry technology solutions and prioritize the implementation of practical application research in agricultural production in the midlands and mountainous areas of the North. Strengthen close coordination between the school and local authorities.
On the side of Bac Giang, the Provincial Party Committee and People's Committee committed to accompany and create support resources for the school to exploit regional advantages, form research centers, and transfer technology to serve the development of high-tech agriculture.
