Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Le Quoc Minh - Member of the Party Central Committee, Editor-in-Chief of Nhan Dan Newspaper, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda Department, Chairman of the Vietnam Journalists Association said that Hanoi Radio and Television Station has gone through difficult times and is currently developing strongly, keeping pace with the press nationwide and internationally.

Mr. Le Quoc Minh acknowledged the determination of the leaders and staff of Hanoi Radio and Television in clearly defining the immediate goal of developing digital content and believed that, with the consensus of the leaders and staff, and the strong direction of the Central Government and the leaders of Hanoi City, Hanoi Radio and Television will achieve many successes. In fact, according to the assessment results of the Ministry of Information and Communications on the level of maturity of digital transformation of the press, Hanoi Radio and Television is in the Top 10 best digital transformation press agencies.

Mr. Nguyen Kim Khiem, General Director and Editor-in-Chief of Hanoi Radio and Television Station, shared that, in the face of the strong change in domestic and international media trends, Hanoi Radio and Television Station is implementing a development strategy to become a strong media complex, connecting the Station with the public in a modern digital content supply chain, contributing to the gradual formation of Hanoi's content ecosystem, while still affirming the unique identity of the Capital Radio and Television Station.
Accordingly, along with the innovation of television, Hanoi Radio has innovated 2 radio channels, linking the content and form of each channel with the characteristics of the capital and the lives of Hanoians. In particular, FM90 Channel is defined as the specialized channel "Hanoi News and Traffic". FM96 Channel is identified as the "News and Music" channel of the capital.

Hanoi Radio also launched the HanoiOn multimedia content application in July 2024. This is a content distribution platform of the digital press ecosystem, part of the strategy to complete Hanoi's modern multimedia communication complex.
Also in 2024, Hanoi Radio restarted the production of television dramas with the long-running film project "For the love of Hanoi" broadcast on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the Liberation of the Capital.
With the attention of the Central and the City, the drastic innovation of the leadership team, and the collective efforts, Hanoi Radio has made clear breakthroughs. Hanoi Radio's news is faster and richer; many innovative programs create new vitality; digital platforms develop strongly.
"In 2023, Hanoi Radio quickly regained its position as one of the Top 10 most watched TV channels in the Hanoi area. In particular, Hanoi Radio has made positive digital transformation steps," said Mr. Nguyen Kim Khiem.
The important contributions of Hanoi Radio and Television have been recognized by the Party, State, Government and people. Over the past 70 years, Hanoi Radio and Television has been awarded many noble Orders and Medals, especially twice being honored with the First Class Independence Medal by the President.
