According to a VNA reporter in France, on the morning of August 31 local time, Ambassador of the Lao People's Democratic Republic to France Kham-Inh Khitchadeth and officials of the Lao Embassy in France visited the Vietnamese Embassy in Paris to congratulate the 79th National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2024).
In a friendly atmosphere, full of comradely love, Lao Ambassador Kham-Inh Khitchadeth sent his warmest congratulations to the Party, State and people of Vietnam, highly appreciating the important socio -economic development and foreign affairs achievements that Vietnam has achieved in recent times, strongly affirming the increasingly enhanced prestige and position of Vietnam in the international arena.
Ambassador Kham-Inh Khitchadeth emphasized that the great friendship, special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between the two nations, built, nurtured and developed by generations of leaders and people of the two countries, is a valuable asset that the people of the two countries need to continue to consolidate and develop; he hoped that the two embassies would continue to maintain the tradition of good exchange and cooperation in the coming time.
On behalf of the Vietnamese Embassy, Vietnamese Ambassador to France Dinh Toan Thang respectfully thanked Ambassador Kham-Inh Khitchadeth and the staff of the Lao Embassy for coming to celebrate with the staff of the Vietnamese Embassy in France on this occasion.
Pleased with the strong, practical and effective development of the relationship between the two Parties and two countries in all fields, Ambassador Dinh Toan Thang affirmed that the Vietnam-Laos relationship is a closely-knit relationship, the two sides have always wholeheartedly supported and helped each other in the cause of building, protecting and developing the country up to now.
Ambassador Dinh Toan Thang affirmed that he will continue to maintain and strengthen close coordination and cooperation between the two Embassies to actively contribute to protecting, preserving and promoting the precious "unique" relationship in the world between Vietnam and Laos.
The meeting and party took place in a warm and friendly atmosphere, demonstrating the close, lasting relationship, solidarity and brotherhood between Vietnam and Laos./.
