At the training session, experienced journalists and reporters shared about the current trend of information reception in society; ways to produce concise, succinct digital products that attract listeners and viewers on social networking platforms; the importance of headlines and clickbait; how to use convenient, easy-to-use yet effective working equipment for a digital product.
Journalist Pham Thu Hien, Center for Digital Content Production and Development (Vietnam Television) shared: the current trend of updating information is gradually shifting from watching television to digital social networking platforms, especially for young people. Therefore, it is necessary to have digital products with concise information and attract the attention of the community on social networks such as: Facebook, Zalo, Instagram, YouTube... before putting all of those press products on television and newspapers.
“To attract viewers and listeners, the most important thing is that the story needs to address stories that people are interested in, that are pressing social issues, but the way it is presented must have a youthful vibe, and be presented in a way that young people are interested in. We must promote promotional content and best cuts so that the audience can watch the promotional content again on television,” said journalist Pham Thu Hien.
