Dak Lak: Paying more than 229 billion VND in unemployment benefits to workers

Dak Lak Employment Service Center (under the Department of Home Affairs) said that since the beginning of 2025, the province has received 13,142 applications for unemployment insurance (UI). Of these, 7,188 workers work in other provinces and 5,954 workers are local.

Workers come to Dak Lak Employment Service Center to resolve unemployment insurance benefits.

After appraisal, the Employment Service Center issued 12,159 decisions on unemployment benefits, with a total payment of more than VND 229 billion. At the same time, the unit completed procedures to transfer 182 files receiving unemployment insurance benefits in the province to other localities according to the wishes of the workers.

In addition to resolving the regime, the Employment Service Center also focuses on supporting unemployment beneficiaries to return to the labor market soon. All workers who apply directly are provided with job counseling and vocational training counseling according to regulations; of which, 15,650 people have been consulted and introduced to jobs and about 300 workers have found new jobs.

Regarding administrative procedure reform, the Employment Service Center has stepped up propaganda and encouraged workers to submit applications on the National Public Service Portal. To date, 2,128 applications have been received online, accounting for 16% of the total number of applications, contributing to reducing time, costs and creating convenience for workers.
