Dak Nong decided to end the activities of district and commune party committees from July 1, 2025.

On the afternoon of May 13, the Dak Nong Provincial Party Committee held a conference on Party building. Comrades: Ngo Thanh Danh, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; Luu Van Trung, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Ho Van Muoi, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Ho Xuan Truong, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, chaired the conference.

The conference reviewed and gave opinions to promulgate the Project to end the current activities of district-level and commune-level party committees; and to establish commune-level party committees directly under the Dak Nong Provincial Party Committee.

According to Report No. 123-TTr/TU, the Provincial Party Standing Committee has reviewed and agreed to submit to the Provincial Party Executive Committee for consideration and promulgation of the Project to end the current district-level and commune-level Party Committee activities and establish a commune-level Party Committee directly under the Dak Nong Provincial Party Committee.

The project has a structure of 5 parts including: the necessity and basis for developing the project; the current status of district and commune-level party committees; the plan to end the current activities of district and commune-level party committees; the plan to establish commune-level party committees directly under the Provincial Party Committee and organize implementation.

The Provincial Party Committee issued a decision to end the activities of 8 district-level Party Committees and Gia Nghia City Party Committees from July 1, 2025. The Gia Nghia District and City Party Committees issued a decision to end the activities of 71 commune-level Party Committees from July 1, 2025.

The Provincial Party Committee decided to establish Party Committees of communes and wards directly under the Provincial Party Committee (the time to establish Party Committees at the commune level is from July 1, 2025). The Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee decided to appoint the executive committee, standing committee, secretary, deputy secretary, inspection committee, chairman, and deputy chairman of the inspection committee of the Party Committee of communes and wards for the 2025-2030 term.

Regarding the name of the commune-level party committee, it will be based on the name of the newly established administrative unit according to the decision of the competent authority. Arrange the current 71 commune, ward and town party committees (6 ward party committees, 60 commune party committees and 5 town party committees) to establish 28 commune and ward party committees directly under the Provincial Party Committee (3 wards, 25 communes); reduce 43 commune, ward and town party committees (3 ward party committees, 5 town party committees and 35 commune party committees).

In his concluding remarks, Comrade Ngo Thanh Danh, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Dak Nong province, highly appreciated the spirit of urgency, running and lining up at the same time in the work of arranging and streamlining the apparatus of Dak Nong province in the recent past.

The Provincial Party Secretary requested that the statistics of assets, including the Party, State, mass mobilization, and socio -political organizations in general, be transparent, with specific assessments of quality. Regarding finance, the Provincial People's Committee held a meeting with departments, branches, localities, chairmen, and secretaries to immediately organize the implementation of assets, finance, and public investment, which must be processed before being imported.

The evaluation of cadres must be comprehensive in terms of capacity and ability. The Provincial People's Committee organizes meetings, issues directive documents, even holds hands and guides work, considers the responsibilities of each locality, department and needs to be done thoroughly immediately.

The Provincial Party Secretary emphasized that this is a revolution, although urgent, but must be done promptly, seriously and cautiously. Personnel work must be truly impartial and objective.

The Provincial Party Executive Committee considers many important contents on Party work.

Regarding the work of Party organization and building, the immediate task is to assign the Provincial Party Committee's Organizing Committee and the Provincial Party Committee's Standing Committee to carefully calculate. For more difficult issues, report to the Party Executive Committee. Comrade Ngo Thanh Danh requested that the Party Executive Committee needs to be united and unified in carrying out the task of streamlining and rearranging the organizational apparatus.
