Mass art performance "Sangha Village Lotus"...

On the afternoon of May 16, in Vinh City, Nghe An Province, the Department of Grassroots Culture, Family and Library (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism) coordinated with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Nghe An Province to organize the national mass art performance "Sen Village Singing". This is one of the events in the series of activities of the Sen Village Festival in 2025, commemorating the 135th birthday of President Ho Chi Minh (May 19, 1890 / May 19, 2025).

The national mass art festival "Sen Village Singing" is held every five years in Uncle Ho's hometown, an opportunity for people across the country to express their respect and gratitude to President Ho Chi Minh. The festival is not only a special art event, but also a political and cultural activity of sacred significance, contributing to honoring the noble image of President Ho Chi Minh; it is a place to spread his ideological values, ethics, and style through each song, melody, and dance.

Speaking at the opening ceremony of the festival, Ms. Tran Thi My Hanh, Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Nghe An province, emphasized that this is a great festival of the mass art movement of the whole country - where the artistic souls, the passionate hearts from all over the country gather, sing together with works imbued with national identity, evoking national pride, arousing love for the homeland and country in each person. Through the festival, Nghe An also has the opportunity to introduce and promote to friends from all over the world the cultural values, history, people and beautiful natural landscapes with a rich treasure of folk culture and national art imbued with national identity.

The festival has the participation of hundreds of artists, artisans, actors, and musicians from 30 provinces and cities across the country, taking place over 3 days from May 16 to 19, at Nghe An Province Folk Song Theater.
