Dak Nong releases 1,500kg of fish fry to regenerate aquatic resources

The provincial Department of Agriculture and Environment has released 1,500 kg of fish fry (equivalent to 60,000 fish) of species with high economic value such as grass carp, common carp, tilapia, red-tailed catfish... into water bodies in the area.

Some fish species with high economic value are released into the wild.

This year's fish release activities to restore aquatic resources are mainly concentrated in West Lake, Dak Mil town; Nam N'Jang irrigation project, Nam N'Jang commune, Dak Song district.

Many agricultural officials and people participated in the launching ceremony of releasing fish to restore aquatic resources in Dak Mil district.

This activity is part of Dak Nong province's plan to restore and develop the ecosystem, ensuring sustainable development of the fisheries industry in the coming years.

Faced with the decline of aquatic resources due to overexploitation and environmental pollution, releasing fish to restore aquatic resources is essential.
