Gia Nghia City deploys the construction of documents for the ward party congress (new)

Regarding the work of drafting documents, up to now, Gia Nghia City Party Committee has established a Steering Committee for drafting documents for the Party Congresses of the wards (new), term 2025-2030, headed by Comrade Bui Huy Thanh, member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Secretary of the City Party Committee.

At the same time, establish 3 working groups to coordinate with 3 (new) wards according to the Project on merging commune-level administrative units of Dak Nong province to develop draft contents of documents to submit to the (new) ward congress for the 2025-2030 term.

Initially, the work of drafting the congress documents, especially the political report, was carried out urgently and seriously to be ready for the congress right after the Project on merging commune-level administrative units of the province was approved by the National Assembly.

According to the plan, the congress of party members or congress of party delegates at the grassroots level will not exceed 2 days and will be completed before June 30, 2025. The congress of party delegates at the level directly above the grassroots level and the party committee of the ward will not exceed 2 days and will be completed before August 31, 2025.

The work of reorganizing the apparatus is also being seriously implemented with the spirit of urgency "running and lining up at the same time". People's Committees at all levels, units, departments and branches are making efforts to complete the records and documents of the work and tasks according to the requirements and time schedule.

Gia Nghia City Party Committee Standing Deputy Secretary Vi Duc Thanh said that before the policy of merging commune-level and provincial-level administrative units and abolishing the district level, Gia Nghia was chosen by the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee to organize a model congress. The preparation of documents was carried out carefully and thoroughly by the Party cells and grassroots Party committees. Therefore, the (new) wards need to study the city's drafts and the characteristics of each commune and ward to develop documents.

Speaking at the conference, Comrade Bui Huy Thanh, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of Gia Nghia City Party Committee, requested that the draft political report should clearly state the potential and strengths of each commune and ward (old) before merging into a ward (new); in accordance with the planning and socio -economic development to build new directions and tasks.

Regarding the organization of the congress, basically all 3 (new) wards have over 200 party members, so according to regulations, the congress will focus on 2 contents related to the draft political report; Party committee personnel and attending the congress at a higher level will be appointed.

Regarding the work of reorganizing the apparatus, comrade Bui Huy Thanh requested agencies, units, and localities to arrange documents, files, assets, and finances, set a specific date for handover and complete all work before merging commune levels and abolishing district levels. “There is not much time left, so we need to be urgent and hasty. Any work under our authority needs to be proactive and responsible for our tasks and work. All documents must be completed in May, at the latest in the first 1-2 weeks of June,” comrade Bui Huy Thanh requested.
