Delegation of Vietnam Fatherland Front of Hanoi City visits religious organizations in Hue

On May 22, a delegation of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, intellectuals, dignitaries, religious and ethnic minorities from Hanoi visited religious organizations and presented gifts to disadvantaged students in Hue city.

The delegation was led by Vice President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi City Nguyen Thi Kim Dung.

At the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in Hue city, Vice President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee in Hanoi city Nguyen Thi Kim Dung sent congratulations to the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in general and the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in Hue city in particular for successfully organizing the recent Vesak Festival (Buddhist calendar 2568 - Gregorian calendar 2025).

Comrade Nguyen Thi Kim Dung also informed about some activities that the delegation has carried out in the connection journey program in the Central provinces in the past days. The connection journey demonstrates the spirit of solidarity and spread between the people working on the Front of the Capital and the localities.

"Hopefully, in the coming time, the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha will have many practical activities, accompanying the authorities at all levels to build Vietnam to become stronger and stronger," Vice President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi City Nguyen Thi Kim Dung emphasized.

In response, Most Venerable Thich Khe Chon, Head of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in Hue City, expressed his joy when the delegation of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi City visited and worked in Hue. Along with that, the delegation also had extremely valuable gifts, both material and spiritual, for the students in Hue City.

On this occasion, the delegation presented 10 gifts, each worth 1 million VND and gifts in kind to students in difficult circumstances who achieved high academic achievements.

On the same day, the delegation also visited the Hue Archdiocese and the Vinh Loi Cao Dai Temple in Hue. At each destination, the delegation presented 10 gifts to poor students who overcame difficulties to study well.
