Eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses for poor and near-poor households reached 97.3%.

That is the statistics of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee as of May 22 on the implementation of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses for poor and near-poor households according to the program of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses launched by the Prime Minister.

Specifically, as of May 22, the whole province has started construction of 2,025/2,225 houses (reaching 91%) for people with meritorious services, poor households, near-poor households, and households affected by Agent Orange/dioxin. Of these, 1,362 new houses were built; 663 houses were renovated and repaired. The total number of completed houses is 1,479.

Of the total 2,025 houses that have started construction, 1,542/1,584 houses, reaching 97.3%, have been implemented according to the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses for poor and near-poor households launched by the Prime Minister .

Currently, Phu Yen has 4 localities that have completed the program of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses, namely Tay Hoa, Phu Hoa districts, Dong Hoa town and Tuy Hoa city. The whole province strives to complete the program of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses for poor and near-poor households before June 30; the remaining policy households will start construction before July 27; complete and summarize the program before September 2, 2025.
