Chuong My district union members receive support from "Union Shelter"

Nguyen Thi Binh's family is in a very difficult situation. She is a single mother raising two children, living in a cramped, seriously degraded house. In particular, the house is low, so it floods when it rains heavily, and living conditions are very poor. For many years, she and her children have always wanted a spacious, solid house to live in peace.

Understanding the thoughts, aspirations and difficult circumstances of the family of union member Nguyen Thi Binh; at the same time, implementing the program of the superior Union on supporting the "Union Shelter" in 2025 for union members with difficult housing circumstances, the Executive Committee of the Union of Phung Chau Primary School reviewed union members with difficult housing circumstances at the School and agreed to request the Chuong My District Labor Federation and the Hanoi City Labor Federation to support the cost of repairing the "Union Shelter" for union member Nguyen Thi Binh.

After the survey, the Hanoi City Labor Federation decided to support union member Nguyen Thi Binh with 30 million VND, and the Chuong My District Labor Federation supported 10 million VND to repair the “Union Shelter”. In addition, the Phung Chau Primary School Labor Union and both sides of Ms. Binh’s family also provided very practical support, both materially and spiritually.

From the above support, along with some savings and additional loans, Nguyen Thi Binh's family decided to repair their house.

Directly presenting the support fund of 30 million VND and 1 gift to the family of union member Nguyen Thi Binh, Vice President of Hanoi City Labor Federation Nguyen Thi Thu Thuy congratulated the union member's family on having a spacious and solid house to live in peace after the repair.

On this occasion, Vice President of Hanoi City Labor Federation Nguyen Thi Thu Thuy sincerely thanked Phung Chau Primary School for accompanying the Trade Union organization to take care of union members and workers; at the same time, she hoped that in the coming time, the school would continue to care for and support union members with difficult circumstances at the unit.

Vice President of the Hanoi City Labor Federation Nguyen Thi Thu Thuy requested that the Chuong My District Labor Union at all levels continue to effectively implement activities to care for the lives of union members and workers, promptly encourage and support union members and workers, especially those in difficult circumstances. For union member Nguyen Thi Binh, the city Labor Federation leaders expressed their wish that after having a spacious and solid house to live in peace, she will continue to contribute to the development of the school; actively participate in the activities of the Union at all levels.

At the support handover ceremony, Chairman of the Chuong My District Labor Federation Nguyen Hop Tien said: In 2025, the Chuong My District Labor Federation has 3 cases of union members receiving support to build and repair "Union Shelters", including 2 cases of repair and 1 case of new construction. Ms. Nguyen Thi Binh is one of the cases with difficult circumstances who received financial support to repair the "Union Shelter".
