The road from Tai Pho village to Van Toc village, Quang Duc commune, was seriously eroded due to prolonged heavy rain.

According to a quick report from the People's Committee of Quang Duc commune, heavy rain has caused the inter-commune road from Quang Duc to Quang Son to be blocked at the spillways. In particular, the road from Tai Pho village to Van Toc village has suffered serious landslides at many points. Specifically, at point 1, heavy rains caused a landslide of the culvert system across the road, 18m long, 9m deep, with an estimated volume of soil and rock of about 1,000m³. Point 2 also recorded a similar situation with a length of 8m, 6m deep and about 160m³ of soil washed away. In addition, at point 3, a landslide of about 90m³ blocked the road surface. Notably, point 4 recorded the entire road surface collapsed and broken over a length of 25m, and the roadside was severely eroded.

Faced with the above situation, the People's Committee of Quang Duc commune quickly directed specialized departments to coordinate with local people to deploy temporary measures such as barricades and warning ropes at dangerous points to ensure safety for people and vehicles passing by. The Commune People's Committee proposed that the Hai Ha District People's Committee and relevant departments urgently direct and support the urgent handling of landslides to ensure traffic safety and stabilize the lives of local people.
