On the morning of May 22, at the National Martyrs' Cemetery on Road 9, the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Tri province held a ceremony to pay their respects, pay their respects, and bury the remains of Vietnamese volunteer soldiers and experts who died in Laos and were searched for and gathered during the 2024-2025 dry season.

Also attending were representatives of the Department of Social Policy ( General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army); Consulate General of Vietnam in Savannakhet province (Laos); representatives of the Party Committee, Command of Military Region 4 ; Corps 15; Special Working Group of Savannakhet province and leaders of Quang Tri province.

Delegates attended the memorial service and burial of martyrs' remains.

Special Working Group of Savannakhet Province (Laos) commemorates heroic martyrs.

Over the past year, under the leadership and direction of the Special Working Group of the two Governments of Vietnam and Laos, the Party Committee of the Military Region 4 Command and the Steering Committee 515 of Military Region 4, the work of searching for and collecting martyrs' remains has achieved many remarkable results.

In particular, Collection Team 584 (Quang Tri Provincial Military Command) closely coordinated with all levels, sectors, local authorities and Lao ethnic people to search and collect the remains of 12 martyrs of Vietnamese volunteer soldiers and experts.

Delegates moved the martyrs' remains to the burial site.
The funeral of the martyrs' remains took place in a solemn atmosphere.

In a solemn and emotional atmosphere, delegates respectfully offered flowers and incense in memory, expressing deep gratitude to the outstanding children of the Fatherland who sacrificed their youth and blood for the peace and independence of the two peoples of Vietnam and Laos.
